Welcome to the skill page of our Fl4k Rakk Attack build,where you will find the skills you need to pick up to play that build, as well as guidance on how to best use them.

This Fl4k Rakk Attack build guide is split in 3 different pages.The other 2 pages are the build overview and the gear, which you can access by clicking the buttonsbelow.

This Rakk Attack build aims to take down enemies using a mix of gun damageand the Rakk Attack! Action Skill. You should begin attacking byusing Rakk Attack. This will deal moderate damage andtrigger various on-use effects, such as The Power Inside and other effectsfrom your gear. When your Action Skill is on cooldown, you can use your gunsto finish off enemies, focusing on getting critical hits. Your critical hitswill benefit from buffs from Galactic Shadow and, more importantly,will reduce the cooldown of your Action Skill through Head Count.Alternating between your Action Skill and your gun will allow the two tocomplement each other as you take down enemies and rack up damage bonusesthrough Hunter Kill Skills like The Most Dangerous Game and Interplanetary Stalker.

• Lick the Wounds—Lick the Wounds is a quality-of-lifeskill that gives you an additional safety net when facing dangerous bosses.This is one of the few skills in the build that does not provide a boost indamage, but spending the skill point is necessary in order to progress downthe kill tree.
• Turn Tail and Run—Turn Tail and Run provides a gun damageboost while stationary and damage reduction while moving. As the damage onlyapplies to you guns, you can freely move while using Rakk Attack! butremain stationary as you shoot if you wish to optimise damage.
• The Fast and the Furryous—The Fast and the Furryousgives you a nice boost in gun damage while you are above 50% health. This isan additional reason to avoid unnecessary damage and heal up if your healthdrops too low.
• Hidden Machine—Hidden Machine provides a moderatedamage boost against targets not attacking you. This boosts all damage,including Rakk Attack! and benefits from the threat reduction of Galactic Shadow.
• The Power Inside—The Power Inside is the skill thatbenefits this build the most. The charges and low cooldown of Rakk Attack! means you will be able to maintain this damage bonusindefinitely. As the skill gives a pure damage bonus, it is also a greatdamage boost for your Rakk Attack itself.
• Interplanetary Stalker—Interplanetary Stalkerprovides various temporary damage boosts as you kill enemies. When killinggroups of enemies in general, this skill provides a significant damage boost,including a damage boost for your Rakk Attack!.
• Leave No Trace—Leave No Trace refunds ammo oncritical hit, allowing you to shoot for longer. As this skill has an internal0.3 second cooldown, regardless of skill points allocated, adding an additionalpoint into this skill is much less effective.
• Head Count—Head Count provides a large reduction inAction Skill Cooldown through critical hits. This will significantly increase the amountof Rakk Attack!s you can cast, increasing your overall damage.
• Big Game—Big Game increases the strength and durationof your Hunter Skills. This makes it significantly easier to main stacks as wellas increasing the damage bonuses of Furious Attack, Interplanetary Stalker, and The Most Dangerous Game.
• The Most Dangerous Game—This skill provides a sizabledamage boost against enemies providing you are able to regularly kill Badass,or stronger, enemies.
• Galactic Shadow—Galactic Shadow is the final skillused from the Hunter Skill Tree. It provides a nice boost to critical damage fora single skill point and passively improves the uptime of Hidden Machine.

Rakk Attack! is the Action Skill that this build is made around.It provides various buffs in the build and contributes to a portion of youroverall damage and is an essential choice.

The Action Skill Augments used in this build are Flock 'N Loadand Rakkcelerate. Flock 'N Load adds a significant amount of damageeach time you use Rakk Attack!, making it the best choice for thisbuild. Rakkcelerate allows you to use your Action Skill more often, whichin turn increases your damage, but is not essential. If you wish to increase yoursurvivability, it can be swapped for Falconer’s Feast. Alternatively, if youare facing poor Mayhem modifiers for Incendiary damage, you can use Rakk Open a Cold One to teporarily switch your Action Skill to Cryodamage.

Spiderant Scorcher is the pet used for this build in order totake advantage of its Elemental Damage bonus. If you happen to be using a weaponthat does not use Elemental Damage, then you may choose to use Guard Skag as a flat boost to all damage, but this is a veryuncommon scenario.

• All My BFF's/ Rage and Recover—You can freelyassign your points to any of these skills from Self-Repairing System as you see fit. As all of these skills offer asmall amount of defence and sustain, the difference between them is minimal.
• Eager to Impress—Skill points can be put into Eager toImpress from Self-Repairing System. However, the very small amount ofcooldown reduction is generally not worth as much as the sustainyou sacrifice for it.
