- Heat 1 tsp butter in a non-stick pan.
- Add1/4 cupchopped onions.
- Sauté on a medium flame for a few minutes.
- Add2 cupsfreshgreen peas.
- Add1 1/2 cups of water.
- Add salt to taste. We added 1/2tsp salt.
- Bring to a boil.
- Simmer for 15 minutes or till the peas are cooked.
- Cool and put in a mixer.
- Blend to a smooth purée.

I never thought such a wonderful soup can come out green peas. The very little mint leaves definitely lends a strong and delicious taste to the soup. So attractive colour and soo tasty is this soup!
