Procedure Overview
Dr. Pearl will perform your breast augmentation under general anesthesia He will create incisions in discrete areas on the breasts to minimize scar visibility. Are Gummy Bear Implants all Teardrop-Shaped?
Across the board, breast implants are made to be round or teardrop shaped. Originally, the highly cohesive gummy bear implants were made only in a teardrop shape. The purpose of this implant type was not only to reduce the risks associated with silicone breast implant rupture but also to maintain the most natural breast shape. The teardrop-shaped gummy bear implant holds more gel at the lower region, meaning more fullness will reside there. This shape mimics the natural slope of the breasts.
